Strike for justice and to reconstitute our democracy.
A strike is one of the most powerful tools Americans have to demand justice and fair treatment. When Americans come together and refuse to work, they demonstrate that the country cannot thrive without their labor and dedication. By striking, we say no to unfair wages, unsafe working conditions, and the exploitation of our lives for profits we rarely see. By striking we can also say no to and shutdown unjust and oppressive antidemocratic, fascist governments.
A national strike goes beyond individual workplaces and communities, showing that the issues facing Americans are systemic and widespread. It’s a powerful reminder that our labor supports the entire economy. When millions of Americans across industries and locations stand together, we create a wave that cannot be ignored. We send a message that Americans will not stand for tyranny nor will we stand for injustice.
Imagine what we could accomplish if we all stopped working together. We have the power to create change!
Throughout history, national strikes have brought about substantial change. They have led to the establishment of labor rights, improved wages, and safer working conditions. National strikes have delivered countries from autocratic rule and tyrannical oppression.
